Leather Book Binding Workshop

The Leather Book Binding Workshop is a 3-hour unique workshop experience at Avant-Garde Art Space.

Yotsume Toji, or 4-hole binding, is a Japanese stab-binding technique that creates a book with a spine similar to perfect binding minus the involvement of glue.

In its place is the use of strings or twines that hold the pages of the book together.

With its simple and contemporary appeal, the Leather Book Binding Workshop is excellent for beginners to get acquainted with the basics of creating a notebook in the Japanese, Korean, or Chinese way.
